Somewhere

There is a place
where time feels suspended.

Foggy dusk over a Transylvanian castle and surrounding hills

Beyond the myths and whispered legends lies a land of quiet enchantment. Guarded by the Carpathian Mountains, rolling hills ripple like silk and ancient forests breathe with centuries of memory. Saxon villages rest among wildflower meadows, smoke curling softly from chimneys as life moves to a slower rhythm. Here, modernity loosens its grip.

You are not simply travelling to another country. You are stepping back two hundred years into a way of life the rest of the world forgot: slow, unhurried, rooted in land and season and the hands of women who have always known how to make something from nothing.

And in that stillness, something in you, something you had almost forgotten, begins to breathe again.

This is what The Meadow was built for. Not to fix you. To reveal you.

This is for you

This is for the woman who has achieved more than she imagined and feels further from herself than ever before.

  • She has tried to slow down and realized she has forgotten how

  • She is standing at a threshold and needs silence long enough to hear what comes next

  • She seeks beauty that goes beyond the surface and reaches something real

  • She knows that what she needs cannot be found in a weekend

  • She is ready to stop performing her life and start living it

What Awaits

Seven days that change
the way you inhabit yourself.

The road narrows and time softens. The air cools: pine, woodsmoke, something older that does not have a name. Each morning, you will wake before the world asks anything of you.

Then the days unfold. Ancient forest. A private lake. Royal castles. Mineral springs that have been healing the body since the 9th century. Bread made by hand alongside women you did not know a week ago. Something in your chest begins to loosen.

On the final evening, in the candlelit room of a 16th-century castle, music will resonate for a gathering of women who arrived as strangers and are leaving as something else entirely.

Not fixed. Revealed.

Count Kalnoky's Estate,
Miclosoara

Count Kalnoky's 16th-century castle in Miclosoara, Transylvania

The Kalnoky family has been rooted in this valley since 1252. After fifty years of exile, Count Tibor Kalnoky returned and restored what remained: the 16th-century castle, the centuries-old cottages, the walled gardens where storks still nest on the rooftops.

The rooms are furnished with antiques and textiles preserved and cherished over generations. There is no television. The village streets are sometimes unpaved. Perfection is neither promised nor desired. What is offered instead is something rarer: a place that is entirely authentic, unapologetically itself.

King Charles III returns to this region still. It was Count Kalnoky who first brought him here. Some places do not let go of the people they admit.

You do not arrive at Miclosoara.
You are admitted.

Anna & Malina

Two women. Two disciplines. One vision. The Meadow was built from the inside out: from personal history, from lived beauty, from a deep belief that transformation happens in the body before it ever reaches the mind.

A woman with brown hair, wearing a black blazer with satin lapels and a lace top underneath, posing against a dark background.

ANNA NENOIU

Twenty years in the rooms where beauty happens. The backstage of fashion weeks. The chairs of women who needed to feel like themselves again. Anna knows that beauty is not what you put on. It is what surfaces when the conditions are right.

She was raised in Transylvania as a miller's granddaughter from a noble family rooted in these hills since the 16th century. She grew up inside communal kitchens and women making things by hand, where beauty was a form of care and never a performance. The Meadow is that world, opened. This land is her story. Bringing you here is the most personal thing she has ever offered. Read more about Anna

Malina Corpadean

Decades of seeing what is real in a world that rewards the performed. Her work as a visual artist and international fashion photographer centres on authenticity, cultural depth, and the quiet power of what is genuine.

Of Romanian descent, this landscape is also her inheritance. She brings to The Meadow the gift of someone who knows how to witness a moment without diminishing it. She sees. She holds. She honours.
