RETREAT TERMS & CONDITIONS AGREEMENT

This Agreement governs your participation in any retreat organized by The Beauty Confidante Inc., a corporation registered in the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Please read this document carefully. By submitting payment, signing electronically, or clicking “I Agree,” you confirm that you understand and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Participation in a retreat is conditional upon acceptance of this Agreement.

1. Parties

This Agreement is made between:

The Beauty Confidante Inc., an Ontario corporation (“The Beauty Confidante,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

and

The individual completing the booking (“you,” “your,” or “guest”).

2. Booking and Payment

To reserve your place, a deposit is required. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be outlined on the applicable retreat booking page.

Unless otherwise stated:

• A deposit is required to secure your reservation
• Full payment is due 90 days prior to the retreat start date
• If booking within 90 days of the retreat start date, full payment is required at the time of booking

All payments are processed in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise specified. If pricing is displayed in another currency, it will be converted at the exchange rate in effect on the date of payment.

Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

3. Refunds, Cancellations, and Credits

Due to the limited and curated nature of our retreats:

• Deposits are strictly non-refundable

• All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law

If you cancel at least 75 days prior to the retreat start date, payments made may, at our discretion, be converted into a credit valid for 12 months from the original retreat start date.

If cancellation occurs less than 75 days prior to the retreat start date, only the deposit may be applied toward another retreat, subject to availability and our written approval.

If you leave a retreat early for any reason, no refund or credit will be issued.

4. Cancellation or Modification by The Beauty Confidante Inc.

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or materially modify a retreat due to:

• Insufficient enrollment
• Safety concerns
• Venue changes
• Government restrictions
• Force majeure events
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If we cancel a retreat prior to commencement, you will receive either:

• A refund of payments made to us; or
• A credit toward a future retreat valid for up to 24 months

We are not responsible for any third-party expenses, including flights, visas, accommodations, insurance, or other travel-related costs.

Force majeure includes but is not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, civil unrest, labour disruptions, or transportation interruptions.

5. Passports, Visas, and Travel Requirements

You are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining valid travel documentation
• Meeting passport validity requirements
• Securing visas if required
• Complying with health regulations
• Booking flights unless expressly included

We are not responsible if you are denied entry into any country or experience travel disruptions. Such circumstances do not entitle you to a refund.

6. No Guarantees

Retreat experiences may include workshops, somatic practices, yoga, breathwork, meditation, ceremonial experiences, outdoor excursions, and other wellness activities.

We make no guarantees regarding specific emotional, psychological, physical, or personal outcomes.

Individual results vary.

7. Intellectual Property

All retreat content, materials, teachings, recordings, and proprietary methodologies remain the exclusive property of The Beauty Confidante Inc.

You may not reproduce, record, distribute, or commercially use any materials without prior written consent.

8. Media Release

You grant The Beauty Confidante Inc. permission to use photographs, audio, and video recordings captured during the retreat for marketing and promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in media content, you must notify us in writing prior to the retreat.

IMPORTANT PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

9. Recommended Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you obtain “cancel anytime” travel insurance that covers your participation in retreat activities, including but not limited to yoga, movement, breathwork, ceremonial experiences, excursions, and international travel.

Each guest is 100 percent responsible for any loss, penalties, fees, or other financial consequences arising out of booking a retreat or cancelling a retreat.

The Beauty Confidante Inc. is not responsible for reimbursement of any travel-related expenses or losses that fall outside the retreat package itself.

For international retreats, comprehensive travel insurance is strongly advised and may be required.

10. Requests for a Roommate

If you are travelling alone and request shared accommodation, we will make reasonable efforts to pair you with another participant.

If we are unable to arrange shared occupancy, you may be required to upgrade to a private room and pay the applicable price difference.

We will provide notice as soon as reasonably possible if this situation arises.

11. Discretion to Deny or Cancel Bookings

We reserve the right to reject, decline, or cancel any booking at any time prior to the retreat start date at our sole discretion.

If we exercise this right prior to the retreat start date, you will receive a refund of payments made to us.

12. Health Declaration and Assumption of Risk

By participating, you confirm that:

• You are physically and mentally capable of participating
• You have consulted a medical professional if necessary
• You are responsible for managing your own medications and health needs

You understand that retreat activities involve inherent risks, including physical injury, emotional release, psychological shifts, illness, travel-related disruptions, and interaction with other participants.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

13. Somatic and Breathwork Release

You acknowledge that somatic practices, breathwork, meditation, and ceremonial experiences may result in intense physical sensations, emotional release, altered states of awareness, or psychological impact.

You agree that participation is voluntary and that you may discontinue any activity at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, you release and discharge The Beauty Confidante Inc., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and facilitators from liability for injury, emotional distress, illness, or damages arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

14. Release of Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Ontario and Canada, you waive any claims against The Beauty Confidante Inc. for personal injury, property damage, financial loss, or other damages arising from your participation, except where caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Beauty Confidante Inc., including its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents, from any claims or liabilities arising from:

• Your acts or omissions
• Your breach of this Agreement
• Your violation of laws during the retreat

15. Privacy

We collect and process personal information in accordance with Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

17. Standard Legal Provisions

Severability
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties.

Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.

Electronic Acceptance
Clicking “I Agree” or submitting payment constitutes legally binding acceptance.
